2011 Goals

It's 14 December 2011, and i'm having my last exam paper today.
Sitting in front of my laptop, listening to korean songs, having a glass of soyabean milk mixed with barleys and green beans, facebooking and blogging.
I couldnt pay attention in my revision. Recalled the promises i have made in this year:
-

1. Get a good result (HDs and Ds)
2. Have a pimples-free skin
3. Good manage of my anger
4. Start my saving
5. Have a balanced diet

The result?
Let me evaluate them one by one.
1. Get a good result (HDs and Ds)
failed: I have no confident with my result. I will pass all of the subjects but getting a high marks is my problem.

2. Have a pimples-free skin
failed: As you all can see my skin problem got worsen. stress? nope. hormone? slightly. food intake? maybe. facial product? I wonder. cosmetics? possibly. heritage? bet that.

3. Good manage of my anger
--: I would say that it's 50% Vs 50%

4. Start my saving
failed: I'm just enjoy to shop.

5. Have a balanced diet
--: Not at all, but I will go to toilet everyday.

" Good try. I can do better next time. :') "

A Better Health

To reinforce our health and to maintain the pink of health, the most easy and important step is to neutralizing our pH value in our body, meaning that we have to maintain our pH value in our blood(alkaline) as acidic is bad to our human bodies.

According to Johnson (2011), "The human body is a complex machine that performs several functions simultaneously. The fuel needed for these functions is derived from the food that we consume. This food is burned or digested by the digestive juices so as to release energy which is used for the different bodily functions." Thus, consuming abundance of alkaline foods is essential in order to our pH level balance which means that we have to take approximately 30 percent of acidic food and approximately 70 percent of alkaline food in our diet.

Having an acidic level will eventually cause an individual to: decrease the ability in food/ nutrition absorption, lower the energy production, weaken the ability to repair damaged cells and to detoxify heavy metals, increase the tumors' expansion, increase fatigue and illness; these can lead to coma and death. (essense-of-life.com, n.d)

Therefore, i would like to list down all both alkaline and acid food as reference:

"Alkalizing Foods
Potatoes
Green vegetables, raw or cooked, salad greens, cabbage, etc.
Colored vegetables: carrots, beets (except for tomatoes)
Corn (kernels or cooked as polenta)
Milk (liquid and powdered form), large-curd cottage cheese, cream, butter
Bananas
Almonds, Brazil nuts
Chestnuts
Dried fruits: dates, raisins (except those that are acidic to the taste—apricots, apples, pineapple)
Almond milk
Black olives preserved in oil
Avocado
Cold-pressed oils
Natural sugar

Acidic Foods to Avoid
If you are too acidic, eating these foods could cause more of a problem.

Refined flour products: White bread, pasta
Grains: White rice
Sugary cereals and desserts: Cakes, pies, cookies
Sugars: White and brown sugar
Beans: Soybeans, chickpeas, red beans, garbanzos
Red meat: Beef, mutton, pork, cold cuts
Fatty fish: Salmon, carp, herring, mackerel
Crustaceans: Lobster, shrimp, mussels
Condiments: Capers, pickles, pimentos, mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise
Fats: Hydrogenated margarine, lard
Beverages: Coffee, tea, chocolate milk, sodas, tomato juice, orange juice, grapefruit juice, wine, strong spirit." --- (Bond, 2002)

Get it started and stay optimum health :)
(The reason i blog this is because my dear always eat acidic food, which is not very healthy. So, i did some researches on this particular topic to advice all of you to stay alert in your everyday diet.)

Bits and Pieces

Hello thr!
it's been quite a while that i didnt blog for the update, which means now, i'm here and ready to throw away A LOT of stuffs flooded in my brain which i can manage to recall. XD
Ok, first one: MAKE A NEW PASSPORT
I went to Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia with my dear; and my sis, she brought with her hubby to go as well. 2 couples :P Before i began, allow me to make some declaration. There were only 3 of us wanted to make passport, one is only an accompanion of mine :) Pandai2 figure out larh ~~ XD
We reached thr early in the morning. Shoot! It's crowded. The car park is fully occupied with carss. ( imagine that how good the government business was ) Fortunately, we managed to find a car park. --Proceed.

We failed to get the number as they said the numbers have already given out, and they will continue the number session in the afternoon. Oh well, since it happened such thing, the only thing we can do was come again in the afternoon. Then, we took the forms and took passport photos at the shop down the building. --- off to lunch.

We have our lunch at kenyalang and did window shopping while waiting for the time. We went to a pet shop. Dear bought 2 fishes. Aww... hahaa, he had the same hobby like my dad.. Woo~ :D was wondering that how long they(fishes) would remain survived. haha :P (I'm so mean ho ho ho )

While back for the imigresen department, I queued at the first line. Was so happy, and believing that it would be done by today. However, it turned me down down down.
The current serving number was 80+ behind the number to go until my turn. "okay, we wait."

Waiting..... waiting.... outside rained heavily, the wind was blowing, starting to fight with the tress, and the storms were starting to make their own band, loud and clear. Everyone brought along with their umbrellas as well as their wet clothes, looked innocent. Some children were having fun there, playing with words and alphabets; some were moving around at the areas; some were remain sitted with their eyes closed, fishing in the dream. haha. my dear was one of them, sitting with eyes closed :D *sorry, i ruined ur offday.*
Few hours later, the officer claimed that their system has turned down. OFFLINE =.=
"okay, haih" how submissive we were. lol

Then we chose to go back instead of waiting the system to go ONLINE. Wasted half a day doing nothing but wait.

2 days later,

We went thr again, but in 3 people not 4. Although we were not the early birdies, still can consider to be that. I got this number >
The original counter was 1001, means 47 to go. -- proceed to payment. We done with the payment, tomorrow come again for collection.

The next day,

the same procedure, get the number. wow! how coincident it was, i got the same number( the last 2 digits) hehehehe!! like it very much.
and u can see from the photo, i would be served in just few minutes later :D
MISSION SUCCEEDED

Next: Fried durian ??
Went to my friend;s house for eating. She brought durian from her kampong, and she fried it for me and another fren. But, the fried durian as she mentioned to us was not the fried durian we were imagined and expected. Imagination VS reality. haha
look here,
lol , this was called tempoyak. fry with anchovies and onions.
still, nice to eat.
never been forgotten, the side order food

Cheesy Wedges Yumm!

and Kampong rice
Overview
Satisfy~:)

Lastly, I would like to enclose this post with a photo that i found it;s alike with someone close to me. ;p
